Clacton Pier’s Breakfast with Santa event is proving a big hit with
families.
Attendances are already up by over 50 per cent on last year – with just four
more days left to enjoy the special experience.
Children and adults have made the most of the deal which includes breakfast
with the man himself, magical entertainment, Santa’s grotto and use of the soft
play area.
And more than 10,000 customers have also come through the doors since
the end of November to take part in the festive attractions which include the
new Christmas Village.
Nigel Brown, communications manager, said: “This is the second year
since we reintroduced a festive event at Clacton Pier and we are still learning
and looking at ways to improve.
“We have had some great comments – and also some ideas for changes which
we will take on board.
“There
are still a few places left for Breakfast with Santa this weekend and on Monday
and Christmas Eve for those who still want to come.”
Santa’s
grotto closes on December 24 when it will be replaced with a festive cinema and
the village and cracker deals run to January 5.
